What Does the Scholarship Cover?

Full exemption from tuition fees throughout the entire degree
Free accommodation in university dormitories, even during holidays
Monthly stipend of 800 Romanian Lei (approx. $170 USD)

Note: Travel and visa-related expenses must be covered by the student.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

Be a citizen of a non-EU and non-EEA country
Apply for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program at Transilvania University
Demonstrate academic excellence or impressive extracurricular involvement
Submit all required documents in English and in PDF format
Maintain good academic standing to continue receiving the scholarship

Required Documents

Applicants need to submit the following:

A detailed CV emphasizing academic and extracurricular achievements
A one-page motivation letter
Three letters of recommendation highlighting the candidate’s potential

Note: Incomplete applications or documents submitted in a language other than English will not be considered.

Final Approval of Selected Students: May 29–30, 2025

The evaluation and selection process will be carried out by a special committee at the university. Only candidates who meet all criteria and submit high-quality documents will be shortlisted. Selected students will also need to complete the formal admission process at the university.
