The AHK Talent Grant is a prestigious financial support program aimed at recognizing and encouraging exceptional international talent. It is specifically available to highly motivated and accomplished students from non-EEA countries (excluding Switzerland and Suriname) who are pursuing full-time studies at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). This grant is part of AHK’s broader commitment to diversity, international collaboration, and artistic excellence.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, recipients of the AHK Talent Grant will receive a tuition fee reduction of €3,710, easing the financial burden of studying in the Netherlands. This support allows talented individuals to focus more fully on their artistic or academic development and make the most of the unique learning environment AHK provides.
The grant is competitive and merit-based, awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding creative or academic abilities in their respective disciplines. In addition to proven talent, applicants are also assessed based on their motivation, financial need, and potential contribution to the AHK community.
Successful applicants must either already be enrolled at AHK or have passed their entrance examination or audition for the intended program of study. Moreover, they must be paying the higher, non-subsidized institutional tuition fees and living full-time in the Netherlands during the course of their studies.
Through this initiative, AHK aims to support individual students and enrich the educational environment by bringing together a diverse group of young creatives from around the world.
