Scholarship Benefits
- Before deductions, PhD students will receive a minimum monthly salary of KRW 1,900,000.
Before deductions, master’s students will receive a minimum monthly stipend of KRW 1,430,000. - Support covers conference registration fees, airfare, living expenses, and travel insurance.
Eligible for Scholarship
Parents and applicants must not be citizens of Korea. Candidates for MSc programs should have a suitable bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Candidates for Ph.D. programs must have a suitable master’s degree from an accredited university. International scores for general students who passed the test on May 20, 2023, and May 20, 2025, including TOEFL iBT 79, PBT 59, IELTS 6, and New TEPS 277. The international scores of hearing-disabled students who passed the test on May 20, 2023, and May 20, 2025, include the TOEFL iBT 20, PBT 20, IELTS 3, and New TEPS 166. Duolingo, TOEIC, TOEFL-ITP, and TOEIC Institutional Program examinations are not allowed. The following candidates are exempt from submitting their English test results.

Documents required for the scholarship
- A written blueprint outlining your academic objectives and planned research is called a study plan or research proposal.
- A certificate of a bachelor’s degree or a formal letter attesting to your anticipated graduation.
- Academic Record for Undergraduate Programs: a list of all the classes you took and grades you earned for your bachelor’s degree.
- For Ph.D. applicants only, a Master’s degree certificate or an anticipated graduation letter is necessary.
- A graduate transcript, which lists completed courses and grades from the master’s level, is necessary for applicants to the Ph.D. program.
- Master’s Thesis: A copy of your completed master’s thesis, which is only submitted by Ph.D. candidates.
