Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and free from infectious diseases or conditions that could affect their academic studies.
• Master’s applicants must be under the age of 30 and hold a Bachelor’s degree by September 1, 2025.
• PhD applicants must be under the age of 35 and hold a Master’s degree by September 1, 2025.
• A minimum average academic score of 75% is required for general applicants; 80% or higher for CSC Scholarship applicants.
• Proof of English or Chinese language proficiency

Required Documents:

• A copy of a valid passport
• Bachelor’s degree certificate or a pre-graduation certificate (original or notarized)
• Academic transcripts from all undergraduate years
• Two academic recommendation letters from associate professors or higher
• A study and research plan for studies in China (according to NPU’s template)
• English or Chinese language proficiency certificate
• Non-criminal record (issued within the past six months)
• Acceptance letter from a supervisor (optional but recommended)
• Awards, publications, or academic achievements (if applicable)
• “Foreigner Physical Examination Form” (issued within the past six months)

Master’s Programs in English:
Programs include but are not limited to Flight Vehicle Design, Aerospace Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science, Materials Science, Cybersecurity, English Literature, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Information and Communication Engineering, and many others.

Master’s Programs in Chinese:
Architecture, Pharmacy, Ecology, and Political Education, among others.

Master’s Programs in Both English and Chinese:
Software Engineering, Naval Architecture, Public Administration, Mathematics, and more.

PhD Programs in English:

Application Process:

Document Preparation
Ensure all required documents are prepared in advance and meet the official requirements.

Online Application
Apply through NPU’s official online application portal. Use a valid email for registration. A non-refundable application fee of 600 RMB (~100 USD) is required.

Material Review
The Admissions Office verifies your documents. Academic departments review your qualifications within 10 business days.

Interview/Examination
Qualified candidates will receive email invitations for an interview or exam. Results are announced approximately one week afterward.

Registration Deposit
Pre-admitted applicants must pay a deposit of 2000 RMB to confirm their seat. This deposit is refundable upon physical registration in China.

Admission Letter & Visa Process
Successful applicants will receive admission documents by mail. They must apply for a study visa at a Chinese embassy or consulate.

Final Registration
Registration will take place from late August to early September 2025. Failure to register on time may result in the cancellation.
