Who Can Apply for the DAAD Scholarship?
You must work for a public authority or private company in a developing country.
Your job must involve planning or doing development-related work.
You need a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
The degree should be four years long.
Your grades must be very good (top one-third of your class).
You need at least two years of work experience after your degree.
Your last academic degree should not be older than six years.
If you have lived in Germany for more than 15 months, you cannot apply.
You must have English language skills:
IELTS: at least Band 6
TOEFL: minimum 550 (paper), 213 (computer), or 80 (internet)
