Government Scholarships of Portugal 2026 – Full Guide Timeline

Apply between June 25 – September 30.
If you register after Sept 30, apply within 20 working days.
For internships, apply within 20 days after starting.
If applying with higher education access and get family allowance (level 1,2,3), you learn results at placement.
You must enroll and verify your status to get the scholarship.
You can also apply between Oct 1 – May 31 during the year.
The scholarship amount is proportional if applying mid-year.
If finishing a bachelor’s this year and starting a master’s next, apply by the above deadlines.
