METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan 2025 Fully Funded is provided by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) completely free of charge, which is a very exceptional opportunity to gain skills in the field of computer science in Japan in the fields of artificial intelligence, IT and technology.
Those who have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree can participate in this internship. This internship will be from October 31 to December 15, 2025.

IT Engineer Application Process

- Artificial Intelligence competition on June 21 and 22

Eligible for METI AI and Tech Talent Internship
- Encourage the program’s objectives and assist Japanese businesses in doing business internationally.
- possess citizenship in one of the nations listed by the OECD or DAC (except China).
- Be outside of Japan
- Be a recent graduate or enrolled in school (within the previous three years)
- Know and speak English
- Lack proficiency in Japanese at the JLPT N5 level or above
- Make yourself completely available for any internship-related tasks.
