University of Twente Scholarship – Netherlands | What You Get

If you win this scholarship, you can join a special program. These are for smart and active students. You can choose one of these:

  • Change Leaders
  • Research Program
  • Design Program

University of Twente Scholarship – Netherlands | How Much Money

You can get between €3,000 and €25,000 for one year.

If your Master’s degree is for two years, you can get money for the second year too. But only if:

  • Your grades are 7 out of 10 or higher
  • You pass half of your classes in the third part of the first year

University of Twente Scholarship – Netherlands | Who Can Apply

You can apply if:

  • You are from a non-EU or non-EEA country
  • You want to study a Master’s program at the University of Twente
  • You have received a conditional admission letter (even if it’s not final)
  • You have been assigned a student number by the university
  • You are not currently enrolled at the University of Twente
  • You meet the requirements for a Dutch student visa, if necessary
  • Your English is good.
  • IELTS: 6.5 or higher (no part below 6.0)
  • TOEFL iBT: 90 total with at least 20 in speaking
  • You are not allowed to get a Dutch student loan
  • You are in the top 5–10% of students in your class

University of Twente Scholarship – Netherlands | Who Cannot Apply

You cannot apply if:

  • You are Dutch
  • You are already studying at the University of Twente
  • You are from an EU or EEA country
  • You want to study at the ITC faculty
  • You are doing a pre-Master’s program
  • You are moving from pre-Master to Master at UT

University of Twente Scholarship – Netherlands | How to Apply

  1. First, apply for a Master’s course at the University of Twente
  2. Wait to get your (conditional) acceptance letter
  3. You will get a student number
  4. Use that number to apply for the scholarship
  5. After you apply, wait. It may take up to 8 weeks to get the result
